About the Hosts

About

When we travel, we gravitate toward places that feel personal — the privacy, convenience, and comfort of having a place to call your own. Staying in Airbnbs over the years helped shape what we value most as guests, and ultimately, what we wanted to offer as hosts.
When Rosslyn Retreat came along, it felt like the right opportunity to create a space that reflects those values. Our goal was simple: make Rosslyn comfortable, thoughtfully equipped, and easy to settle into. Its convenient Indianapolis location makes getting around effortless, and we’ve added personal touches we appreciate ourselves — a stocked coffee and protein bar, pet-friendly perks, and family-friendly amenities like a crib.
Some of our favorite moments are the quiet ones: family dinners with our daughters and their families, long conversations, and simply being surrounded by people we love. That same sense of warmth and connection is what we hope guests feel when they stay at Rosslyn.
We also love the outdoors and spend time backpacking on some of the country’s most beautiful national recreation trails, including the Appalachian Trail. There’s nothing quite like the view from a mountain top — breathtaking, humbling, and grounding all at once. Those experiences shape how we think about rest, perspective, and the value of slowing down — ideas we try to weave into every stay we host
